if you got both cars for free. the r35 already run's an 11.3 stock. the civic run's a 15 at best. the r35 is boosted with more displacement and weighs a helluva lot more. what do you think will happen to that 11.3 1/4 mile time when you drop it to around 3k lbs and put boltons on with some ecu tweaking? i wouldn't say you'll make the civic faster for cheaper. but you the money saved on the price tag will take you further is the correct way to phrase it.

and you would lose horribly in every way. nsx is an underpowered immitation ferrari that has a price tag double it's value. that heavy skyline is running better times than cars that would tear the nsx apart and it weighs 3800 lbs. but it's your taste and i can't hate you for your oppinion....just simply disagree.

1 this is a honda forum, dudes strip their cars to that point just to run 14's
2. when you drop 800 lbs off of that skyline, even at stock power it would be at the z06's body weight. and at it's current body weight it's edges out the z06. at 3000lbs that skyine would destroy the vette in every way possible if both cars are at stock power levels.
3. you could techinically buy 2 skylines at the price of 1 audi R8. and just race prep the one and leave the other stock

it's comes with a paddle shifter, same with the new evo. it's just plain faster and better than a true manual. it even rev matches for you with shifts. it's a semi manual, you select shif points and it does the work with more precision. it's what indy cars use, and part of the reason it's faster than a z06. i personally don't mind, i'll get over it and i like the idea of having a true manual when i need it and an auto for when i'm lazy. i like the gtr just because it's more practicle than a z06. do you know what 500 lbs of tq is like trying to drive in the snow in rwd even with all-season tires on? i lke the gtr because it's a touring car that can be used in many more situations.
