F1 cars also do it but you never see it cuz methanol fire is invisible. WRC cars prolly do it the most because its their anti-lag system. Basically unburned fuel goes past the engine and ignites before the turbo causing it to spool up much faster. Makes you wonder why a 2.0 engine that makes about 350 Hp turbocharged churns out more then 500 Lbs of torque. Its usually a highly tuned turbo'd car that makes a flame.

I don't think it was his quarter, if you look at the intro page, it says he has a best e.t. of 9.xx. However, I thought other countries always measured in the metric system, so maybe the 13.72 is his 1000 km time.
ya i notice supras do the backfire the most especially in the mischeif 3000 video at the end o by the way that video is pretty sweet not like 100% awsome but its hard to make a good car video i would think

The 1994 Dauer 962 LeMans holds the fastest 0-60 that I know of, in 2.6 seconds in 1st gear only, the 962 is the porsche 996 turbo (motor in 911 Turbo) motor for those that might not know. The Dauer is Twin Turbo, and it would kill that american crap.
check out the dauer for yourself at http://www.supercars.net click on 0-60 then click on 1994 Dauer 962 LeMans, I almost forgot the new 2003 Ferrari Enzo is a V12 with a 7 speed F1 style slapstick and it dosn't even do 0-60 in 1.97, so surely an american crap chevy can't.

Umm yes the Vette does 0-60 in 1.9sec and it will hand the Dauer its ass. Not to mention you aint getting a Dauer, and if you did it would cost much more than a lingenfelter.
