go visit my photo gallery, you'll see my car there. why would you assume i have a s2k? if i had $33g's to spend, i defiantly wouldn't spend it on a s2k. are you generalizing that s2k owners are cocky? not as cocky as evo and sti owners...that's for sure.

Thats true...not everybody who buys a vehicle bases their choice on Motor Trends test for best car of 2005 so its all personal preference and your always going to have someone who dislikes a certain vehicle for which ever reason they have...its a never ending battle

Is he charlie03cobra? Or what kinda car does he drive? Ive ran into some fast cars here including turboed fox bodies, a hatch built by intech and even a few other sport compacts that could hang on my old build.

to say an evo is nothing without launching is just plain stupid. have you ever owned or driven an evo. probably not. even if you've driven one. that doesn't mean anything, because you can't just hop in an evo and know how to drive it. It's been one of the more challeging cars I've ever driven, but that's why I bought it. it's a real drivers car. I can promise, if I race a car from a dead stop and beat it. I'm gonna beat it from a slow roll also. one thing you seem to keep forgetting is... 4g63's Have torque and so do EJ25's for that matter. My car make just as much TQ as it does HP and it's not stock. after I get back from vacation. I'll have some more video of my new dyno's with my cams, etc... I'll also have some video of it at the track. I'm not gonna make a video of my and friend racing out on the street. that's just plain stupid. I'm alot more mature then that and I also enjoying have my driver's licences and a clean driving record, a must for a 20yr old with an Evo. If you can come of with some factual information. to back your statements. then go ahead. otherwise do post stupid comments. All your doing is making yourself look bad.
back to the topic: that S2k was bad ass... he walked that EVo like there was no tomorrow. granted, I'd bet that evo is mostly stock. The s2k was still bad ass. I don't think this was a fair comparson. IMO of course. both of these cars have similar power, I think. Doesn't the s2k come with 240hp stock... sorry I can't remember. The Evo is 271hp stock. the SC is another 80-120hp on the S2k. S2k is now around 320-340hp. Evo with a turbo back exhaust is about 300hp... now lets do the math... What is the weight of the S2k. the Evo is around 3250-3300 depending on what options: sunroof, hids.... makes sense now that the S2k destoryed that Evo. Now let's replace that evo with mine or my friends. you know, to make things fair. I think the story would really change then. IMO... but like some of yall have stated... who cares. they're both fast cars.

how do you do a quarter mile run from a roll? I'd be intrested to see how that timing system works.

depends on what car so that doesn't mean anything. take a srt-4 for example. someone stated this before on here in the previous posts so i'm just going to recall it. the evo will win from a dig but from a roll the srt-4 will start pulling on the evo. stock for stock that is.

Depends on the car, and what speed your going to. From a 10 MPH roll, AWD doesn't really help me, cause Im out of boost anyways in first gear, and not going to do a rolling clutch drop and break something ><

You got any dyno numbers or track times for your car? Ive always wondered about vishnu stages and how they are.
Another thing, Evo's gain that much from a turbo back? What about up and downpipes, are they catted stock on the evo? Cause if not I can see it being similar to replacing the exhaust on an STI, which yields about the same gains as mentioned because of the lack of uppipe and downpipe cats.

Its all about trap speed really. Determines how youll do from a roll limited by factors like drag and top end cutoff of course. Using a numbering system showing vehicles hitting 13's or such and such really just simplifies it instead of throwing trap speeds around and losing people that are not familiar with that systems.

lol damn, Im hoping to trap around anywhere from 117 to 125 with my new build. The new turbo really increases the top end and helps it "go".
What kinda car is it?
