i'm kind of thrown by him saying they haven't turned out anything as fast as a group B since the 80's. thats because there are regulations about how powerful rally cars can bee now. if left up to there own creations im sure the rally cars of today would be ridculously fast

I dont even beleive that. I think if that car was up against a WRC car in a rally stage the WRC would come out. The driver would have to be Loeb. But yeah those cars looked like a joke lol. Modern cars are so much faster through stages I think because they car turn faster

Thats what he said. Modern cars have upgraded brakes and suspension to help keep them on the track better, but the Group B cars would eat them for breakfast in a straight line.

IlLeGaL ! ! !

WTF.. So if you owned/built one you still wouldn't be able to go racing @ racing events accross the country.... ? that sucks....

with all the money spent into them..

I'd rather get the Evo9.... some reflash with cam gears and exhaust pushing over 330hp to the wheels.. @ least.. those things are nuts.. thats like under 20psi or @20psi with 91 pump gas.. imagine different tunning and race gas + more boost..

they're crazy..

Mind you these are weekend warrior drivers who are just having fun.

Watch the old video of actual group b rally and they are fucking hauling ass. The world of unlimited offroad rally is hillclimb now.

When he said 0-60 he meant mph not kph right?

yeah I still remember the number of spectator related injuries the Group B racers got involved with. Porsche's 959 was always my fav and probably the most recognizeable of the cars of that era.
