actually Crank walk shouldn't be an issue, it's a 1GA DSM with a 6-bolt 4G63 it's the 7-bolt engines that had that problem frequently. also putting $ into the bottom end makes them more reliable. here in a couple months i should have my second half project a 4th gen Accord

I am just giving you a hard time, they get a bad wrap for being bad cars but the real reason that so many people have problems is because they attempt to do things the cheap way all the time and it ends up coming back to bite them. As long as you do things the right way it could be a awsome car when your done.

yeah I'm having a performance shop do the 4G63T swap as i will be to busy with the accord and it's an easy swap so i know they cant fuck it up, (yeah they are a good shop but i have a hard time trusting anyone else but me under the hood of my cars) that and i hate working on turbos.
so far Ive painted the door handles and filled a few chipped spots in the paint with a rattle can (temporary)

Why wouldn't you just buy a gst???? You can find 90's for dirt cheap.... Fun car none the less.

it was $1200 (well $950 but I/M and registration was like $250 soooooo) and no matter what i get I'm swapping the motor out anyway so why pay more for a turbo model when it won't matter in the long run. not looking to run an 18 year old motor that i have no idea where it's been

I understand that logic to an extent, but if you purchased a turbo model than why not just rebuild it.... Also, what are the difference's chassis wise vs a gst???

because an already rebuilt 4G63T with transmission is $1500 and i got a quote for installation of $600 it would be more for a shop to rebuild both considering the man hours it would be. i would have if i was doing it myself but I'm gonna be preoccupied putting an H22A into a 4th gen accord and I'll have to get both done before the end of October or I'll be working in snow.
