Interesting that's a pretty sweet lookin car at least. I wonder why they used the Fit engine? The future Type R will be a diesel anyway Honda allready makes great turbo diesel engines

I thought it looked like it was in slow motion. What was wrong with using a k20, or an h22, or f20?

Anyone has subs on this? The other engine (hybrid K20/F20) was really good so why settle for something smaller?

i think it is a hybrid civic. as in gas/electric and instead of the 1.3liter the hybrid has they are using the 1.5 the fit has

I think you're right. It's just that the title kind of confused me because it said Type R.

they do have a new civic type r sedan coming out soon. its said to come out here but not in japan! weird huh? well i read about it in the honda tuning magazine. they had one where i think mugen did the upgrades and it beat a stock s2000 on the track! i'll try to find the mag and let you know for sure, i do have a pretty bad memory.

excuse my retardness! i guess i was dreaming a little to much, i reread the magazine last night and i was wrong. it was a civic si sedan that spoon took and made it there own type r version. it had a jdm k20 with s2000 slugs in it.
made about 240 whp and it did take a stock s2000 on the track. but as it coming out here in the states, wrong! but they did say there was rumor of japan dropping a civic type r early this year. idk, but this spoon type r civic was sick, i wish they did come out with one here tho!

Umm B's and H's have not been made in what? 6+ years? Both of them are out dated. I think it was a pretty nice exibition of what a 1.5 can do even in a heavy car.
