it clearly says 1100 for that bike, so its probably a mid 90s bike...which is not very fast compared to the new ones
http://youtube.com/watch?v=cIpDgMsLSek
somehow i highly doubt that nissan patrol will do a 9 sec 1/4th mile

I believe it, I have raced Bikes on the High way, they pull on me but not by that much, they are great off the line, but 2 me thats it. Those Patrol are very fast, Here's a link to one beating a Murcielago. give the truck the props it deserve. And Here's another one beating a SLR Mclaren

Prelude
I have a 92 prelude, gutted out, h22 swap other mods and tuning, I think the bike that was pulling on me was a GSX-R 750. NOT a 1000. I think If I had my talon, that 750 wouldn't be leaving me like it did my prelude.

That's it?? i thought you had some seriously modded car. I ride a cbr 600rr and unless you have something else other than a h22... at any speed i'll put bus lengths on you. Maybe the bikes your racing aren't really racing
Same goes for your talon...You gotta have some serious hp to run with a bike.

newer 600's run mid to low 10's in the 1/4 mile with 1000's running mid 9's in the 1/4...

yeah you'll be around.....a 1/4 mile away is still considered "around somewhere" hey you should post up pics of your rides
yea busa's are insane man. they are to big for me though. My buddy rides a cbr 1000rr and he walks aways from me like im standing still... i dont even try to keep up.....unless we are in the twisties, then its a whole new ball game

busa
LOL, Ok I get it . I have pics of my talon but none right now of my lude in this current setup I'll try and take some. my friend busa is so fast, but he take the corners so slow, the bike is way to big for me, I am trying to get a 600, I'm looking for one of those classes and to convince my wife to let me buy one, I never rode a bike before but that busa makes me want one.

yea the BEST thing you can do is take the class first man. they provide the bike and everything you need. (except a helmet i think ..dont remember)..i didnt tell mine wife about it. i just went and got the bike...
busa's are only good for straight line and crusing. definitely not the bike i'd pick for the twisties.

Thanks man, I'll consider doing that, I might wait till around fall when bike prices start going down again. right now its alittle to expensive to buy one, I need something I can drop and the fairing and other parts won't be too expensive. I am looking for something like a 500r or ninja 600. Plus Insurance for those newer bikes were rediculous for me. I need something form the late 90's. thanks for the advice
