That was the first time at the track with the 2 step and 4600rpm was the only pill I had that day. I don't see how my driving or seat time effected any of my results that day, more lack of parts then anything.

I don't use a 2 step and I get 1.74 60' all day long. I think what everyone is trying to say is that in a CRX with the power you are making it should hit 11's on street tires so if you were running slicks and it didn't go 11's then yes you need more practice. I have seen your other vids and the car makes good power my coupe weighs 2400+ and on low boost(330whp) i ran 11.7@127 on drag radials with a 1.94 60'! So dude just get your suspension done and what not then practice on that before you make more power, when you start making big power in a FWD you will soon have to find out how to control your tire spin with boost control! I am putting mine back on the dyno next week for race gas tune shooting for 550+whp @ under 24 psi!

Good luck man!

What were your trap speeds?

your getting 1.74 short times with no box??? you must have a tiny little turbo to beable to get it spooled off the line. that or you have something else spooling it for you.

also I think you keep missing a big part of the vid. the car shut down 100 feet or so from the line. if it had ran all the way through it would have went 11.8's at over 122mph also that was only on 16 pounds, which the car made around 350 at the wheels.

another point is, the tank like weight of your car makes it easier to hook up. I know this because my car weighing in at 2200 hooks better than the crx. this car still spins the slicks in 3rd gear. therefore not making the time YOU want it to.

all the problems are being taken care of as we speak. as far as driving and seat time, he only has about 7 years. so yea he is still learning, but hell I have a little over 12 years, and I learn somthing new all the time. when you start making real big power like this car, the first thing you learn is not to go out and launch it at 7k rpm. you start off slow and work your way up. which is what were doing. that was pretty much a first true run of the car and a 12.07 @119mph shutting down 100 feet early, is a pretty fucking respectable.

as for the sound, well big power, open wastegate, and 3 inch strait exhaust, gets you that sound. I would rether it sound like, that than the high pitched, bumble bee, fart cans, like on 99.8% of the hondas out there.

Slow your role man, I was just commenting and I also gave a few complements. So lets start off with this. Why in the hell yould you take a car to the track and the speed limiter still be on, I have seen videos of this car on the internet and suff why didn't the speed limiter mess up the pulls there. Don't talk shit just because my coupe on 14 pounds would murder that POS. Oh yeah my turbo is an SC61 an I do not have any issues with it bogging off the line and I do not use any other way to build boost, please don't start a flame war with me. I am sure that the car will get faster I was just stating the obvious. I mean my car made 426 whp @15 psi so don't tell me about big power and all the other BS. Just race that shit and see how fast you can get. By the way my first trip to the local 1/8 track after I got my car tuned and put slicks on it netted me a 7.23@102 and remember that is on lower boost than you guys are running and in a heavier car.

first your car is a 2ltr this is a stock size bore 1.8 second the fucking speed limiter was still on the car because we dont go run 120mph on the streets to see if the limiter kicks in

I dont want to even argue with you you own a honda and your on super honda you must know everything there is to know about racing

Alright alright, last year we only attended about 5 races in the Nopi drag racing series and we won 4 of them, so please don't be a smartass about racing to me, now granted my brother was driving the COMP 4 car because he does most of the work on it. Just search around for some of last years results his name is Howard Shoaf and the all motor street car ended up running 11.12@122, thanks!

Well, once again, I don't see why my driving would matter on my et's. I have been racing for 7 years now, I know how to drive. You can watch the vids 1000 times and not see any bad driving. The only reason the car didn't 60ft better and go 11's is the suspension is crap, it will pull like a foot and a half of fender well on the launch. It was the first time to the track on the 2 step and the 4600 pill is all I had at the time. Before I went to the track I was under the impression I could unhook the speedometer and it wouldn't regulate it, well when I did that it ran like shit. If you watch all of my other vids, I let off or the car shuts down at like 115 to 118. 12.07 at 118 isn't bad for coasting the last 100 ft. Hell, these were just some rundown passes for testing, I could of turned up the boost to the dynoed hp and ran faster then 11.7 coasting. Don't forget, this setup was on a piggyback system and a drag manifold with the 60-1. I am positive you are running nothing less then hondata and a equal length and according to full race there is about 50hp in just that manifold. The only reason I haven't went equal length is space. Also by looking at the rlz link, I am sure you have some extensive head work. Once the suspension, engine management, t3/t67 and possibly boring to 2.0 the car should run 10's. Much props on your passes with a coupe, but, I never said anything bad about your car, and I defianately didn't say it was a pos. I don't like battling with fellow honda guys, but when its all said and done, you never know, I might be talking down to you. I have a endless bank account and will use it, but this is just a hobby to me, not my life.
