man, the gsr was slightly faster, but they both had horrible timing on the lights.

why lower CR allows for better turbo tuning with a broader power band. yeah the type r will make more power per lb of boost but the gsr theoretcially could run more boost with better tuning. but i don't know the specifics of their setups, so it's all speculation. and the gsr cams are techinically better for boost.

That would be true if we knew that both cars still had stock engines, for all we know both of the engines could of been running the same 9:1cr forged pistons... Im pretty sure that race came down to who had the better turbo setup, who was making more power and who was the better driver.

Nice runs though. Both cars looked very nice.
