Need help in the Boston area!

Hey everyone, I moved down to Dedham/Westwood, and I'm looking for somebody (or many bodies) to work on cars with. Not every job is a one-person job... this was proven to me when I found out that my hood latch is sticky, and I definitely can't reach the lever in the dash and the front of my hood at the same time. Another set of hands would go a long way. I have a garage to work in and a full set of tools (no air tools... yet), I just need someone else to work with (my car, your car, my bike, your bike, I'm happy just working).

Oh, and... FREE BEER!

I might live far away right now, southeastern mass to be exact, but I'm going to uti in norwood, mass in december, for auto. I'm not really good right now, but am looking to learn a bit, so if you do need help, just give me a week or two heads up, so i can make time to get up there.

Norwood is right next to me! I'll be installing my new cat and cat-back exhaust this weekend, and swapping out one of the wheel bearings. If I have time, I'll put my new intake manifold on, get around to a valve adjustment, and rotate my tires.

As a final aside-project, I might just start the Integra brake swap, but I'm considering getting the calipers powder coated first. Pretty much any time you feel like playing cars, I'll have a project on-hand. I have two co-workers who need work done (old cj5 jeep needs plugs and wires at least, and a'67 fastback that needs a timing job) in addition to my own fun stuff, and my '93 gsxr that I've got parts coming in for. That's going to be an interesting job. I see that engine coming out and going to a machine shop before the winter's up

right now, i'm getting my clutch installed, but after i get m car insured/registered, i'll be able to go up there on my days off to work on any/either cars. I'm putting in a lot of stock and minor bolt ons for my car, in hopes of it lasting the school year, then afterwards, i can put in an h22. I'm starting school in december, on the 10th, so i guess i graduate around the same week, next year?? lol. I'll give you a message later with my number.

sounds like a plan! It's kind of shitty out right now, so I'm going to wait on installing my new wheel bearing until the morning (hopefully I can get it done before work, that is). Just let me know when you're ready for some work, and as long as you make it far enough, the h22 swap sounds like fun! Count me in.

Sweet man, we'll be sure to give you a warm East-coast welcome! Now, why would you go out to Cali when we have a perfectly good Shipyard over here... that they threaten to close down every 4 years... unsuccessfully...

Coincidentally, I should be headed out to Cali to startup my new company in the next 6 months. Wish me luck on that one! Funding is the key.

Anyway, we should have a much better crew on the East Coast sometime in the near future. Anytime anybody needs a garage and an extra set of hands, I'm here.

Heh, the plan is to live in northern AZ, but have Cali's workforce available. I'm sure I'll work everything out one way or another

East Coast is better, if this saturday is nice, maybe i can make my way up to your area, depends on my mom and my girlfriend, and what they're doing. You said you had headers and a catback to put on, right?

Headers are on, and I'm not sure if the catback is going to bolt up to my current cat nicely, so I'm going to order a new cat or test pipe tomorrow. Hopefully it'll be here by the weekend, but probably not.

I do, however, have a wheel bearing, a set of brakes, and vacuum lines to work on. If you have a corded drill, it'd be a huge asset for getting those screws on the rotors off. I don't have a drill down here and it's been a huge pita.

wanna help find a f22a1 engine/tranny with low mileage cheap, maybe ebay? I'd like to put both in so my car can last the school year, the car is at 220k miles, and going from boston to fall river 5 times a week for a year, year and a half, is about 140 miles a day, at most.
