That red civic is mine. it is true that everyone comes out to these types of events, every type of car came out.
Deflowering? I'm going to have to look that up, kind of confuesed, but I have to say that it was the most fun I had with my car yet, legal or illegal.
I am not a scca member, but by the end of this week I will be a member of Sports Car Club of Vermont. Sports Car Club of America is too expensive right now.

i meant you aren't an autocross virgin now...
to this day, i'm still not a member of any clubs/organizations but i am a staunch supporter and advocate of autocrossing...
it's too bad not everyone can meet up at the next event in long island...
but the spirit of fun is there!
yahoo!!!

My boy in his 280z Datsun video taped the race while we were out in the field collecting cones and calling in penalties. I think this is one of the cooler clips, but up at the top there are all the clips from that day. Take a look and enjoy.

autocross does not discriminate what kind of car you use...
you can enter using a friggin golf cart for crissakes!
seriously, anything from a gokart to full fledged, professionally prepped, race cars can participate...
as long as they are all safe to run while on the course (in other words: wheels securely lugged, functional brakes, seat belts in place, etc. etc.)
basically, if your car is safe to drive on the street, it's a pretty much a gaurantee you can use it to autocross...
and don't think you HAVE to have a modded car...
this sport teaches you it's not WHAT you drive, but HOW you drive...
this is something most ricers cannot comprehend...
but guys like us are more than happy to preach the gospel according to otto crawsing
