NOVICE Driver's Clinic and Autocross - Vermont

The Sports Car Club of Vermont will be hosting a NOVICE Driving Clinic on the morning of August 18. A $10.00 entry fee will include personalized driving instruction in a safe, fun enviroment. Students will learn the basics of car control, in their own cars, with the supervision of driving instructors from the SCCV. The instruction will be an introduction into the motorsport of autocross. Knowledge gained can also benefit the students in the rigors of driving in New England. You will be better prepared to avoid accidents, and deal with a wide variety of road conditions that Vermont may present to you.

SCCV will also be running a "Test & Tune" day on August 18. Experienced drivers may choose to have open practice (instead of instruction) on the autocross course. This is a non-points yielding event. Cost is $30.00 for members, $35.00 for non-members. Driving instruction is only $10.00 for newcomers to SCCV, there is no additional cost for driving Saturday for these students.

On Sunday August 19, there will be a standard SCCV autocross. Students from Saturdays driving school are encouraged to attend. Sundays entry fees are $30.00 for members and $35.00 for non-members.

Pre-registration is encouraged and more detail on pre-registration will be posted in the coming days. You may register the day of the event on a space available basis. Registration for both days begins at 8 am.

Don't miss this opportunity to Autocross on Sugarbush's 2 large lots. This event will be the highlight of the Autocross season here in Vermont.

Date: August 18th & 19th
Time: 8 a.m.
Location: Lincoln Peak
Admission: varies
Website: http://sccv.org/cms/
Area: Sugarbush Resort

(Sugarbush Access Rd & E Village Rd Warren, VT 05674)

This is the intersection right in front of the Ski Resort, I couldn't find and address to the base of the mountain, so this is what you have to work with, if you copy and paste this into Maps.Google.com it will show you the intersection.
