Question...

A few months ago, I sold my LS EG up in Los Angeles. Both I and the guy who bought the EG signed the paperwork on the back of the title, and I sent in the Release of Responsibility that comes with the title. Well the car apparently got impounded and I got a notice from LAPD as well as from the tow yard. I'm thinking about going to the DMV to see whose name the title is under. For some reason, obviously my name and information is still attached to the EG even though I signed the release.

Here's the question. I want to go down to the tow yard and just get the EG out and then just sell her again. Obviously I know the car would legally have to be mine. What are the chances of this happening?

wow.
either the dmv didn't get the paperwork or the guy didn't give it.
if the guy isn't responding to it, take that risk and try to get the papers to sell it again.

Honda this week said it misprinted a toll-free auto-safety phone number in 1.2 million car manuals for the 2006 model year. Instead of an '888' prefix, Honda printed an '800.' And customers who attempted to use the phone number didn't get just any service. They were greeted by a phone sex line — "for live one-on-one talk with a hot fantasy girl." In a letter to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Honda said it would send postcards to owners and dealers with the correction

well you can go and see if they'' give you the car depending if it doesn't have a criminal hold under investigation.pay the tow yard and get it out, the only thing is if the guy finds out someone who took the car out and it wasn't him, he can assume it was you,and if he had some kind of written contract or witnesses ,then he still the owner of the car ,becuase he probably still has the title unless he lost it. then theres no paper work.
