seen you around before in bridgepointe in san mateo but newayz yeah ive been shoping around and thats the cheapest ive seen 59 and as high as 70 in some places
I take it you've already got it smogged by now considering its beem months since you originally posted.
But it varies and most of the time you get good deals in "Penny Saver" or the local free papers. There are usually coupons for a cheap smog inspection of a free re-test.
There are a few places here that does free retest if you fail. I know of at least one that is a no-pass no pay.
BTW, ref's are pretty cheap compared to a regular shop. But unless you have lots of modifications that the regluar test only stations can't verify parts on, don't waste your time. Because they will specifically ask why you want to make an appiontment with the ref. Must have lots of smog alterations and engine swap to usually qualify. That or a ticket. LOL!

Its a regular smog shop. Only they go through and check engine, ECU, etc to make sure you have all the proper stuff transfered over from the host vehicle. I personally haven't gone through because I never had any need to. But friends say its pretty much like any smog inspection just a bit more detailed.
Once they pass you , then you can go back to regular smog shops.
