I think it's in the Middle East. I don't know if you ever saw the pictures, but they had a little exhibition tennnis match set up on the helipad of that airport 1996 civic is referring to. I don't know if it's a city, or a country or what, but I do think it's in the Middle East. did you try google, or looking at a map?

my dad lived in Abu Dhabi for a while I flew in and out of Dubai a few times back in the 90's

I must say Dubai is my favorite place in the Emirates with Korfikan (probably spelled that wrong) as a close second
