my friend bought it..

the only drawback is that you have to buy a replaceable filter..

i'm old fashioned with a twist..

i wash it but when i dry i used the cali blade and a micro fiber towel

i have a similar auto drying soap (i think armor all?) but it's not quite that great....i'd rather just dry it by hand.

oh and shouldn't this be more in the detailing/exterior forum?

I don't see the need for it unless you are lazy.. it just filters the water so you don't get spots.. I tried that rainx no dry crap a few years ago and you have to take the nozzle off the hose and let the water run over the car for it to not stick haha.. its all crap.. get a cali blade and a towel.

Ok after seeing this thing in the store again. I decided to take a good look at this thing.

Its actually pretty cool. This is what Ive come up with. It allows you to switch between the standard water and filtered water. Which almost made me buy it. It then has soap that you can pour in , so you can easily use any soap of your choice.

So its all good so far. Price 19.99 , not too bad. Filter refills , 6 dollars. Yup. Sounds good again.

Now im about to leave when I look at the refill and it says. Good for 10 washes. Im like YIKES. 10 washes only for the filter. Im thinking 30-50. But 10...and it doesnt gurantee it said it might be worse or better. Depending on the condition and run time of your washing. Im sure with some well used water time. I could get more...but who knows about my water.

Im thinking hmm. I kinda only wash my car once a month....But im thinking I might do it more or something. Either way im not sure If I want to invest 20 dollars in something that might not really get used. Then have to pay 6 dollars to use it every 10 times and worry about when its going to pop up again.

I guess cause I was also eyeballing the new colorX. And NXT wax. 15 dollars for it. I really want it , but its a different kind of wax and im really not sure how good it works with everything. Also the colorX baffles me. I really wonder about meguiars products and there true uses.
