i dunno why u'd want more top speed, since u cant use it too much on public highways, never legally at least, BUT the only ways i can see, are first, chipped ECU to rid rev./speed limiter, higher final drive (if u want slower accelleration) aaand more power for sure.

More torque, and the heavier the car the higher rate of acceleration if has. If you have 5 ppl in your car it will be faster once you hit like 110-120.

ok man ill take some of the shit your smoking.
Only reason I ask is because my friend was saying that when you add hp you make your max speed incease. As in if he added 50 hp to his car let just say from I/H/E( i know that really way to high of hp number) that his car would topout at 160mph instead of the cars normal 150. Why was asking ways to improve top speed, if that help and one.

More torque? Torque gets you off the line and out of the corners, hp takes over after that. Unless you plan on running a hellacious high final drive, your best bet is to maximize hp. Hondas are not and probably never will be known for their torque. They have the capabilities of making high rpm hp, so work on that. If you want to go fast fast, buy something else. The only way I could see that a heavier car will go faster top end is that a heavier car will be lower to the ground and improve aerodynamics vs a light car that wants to lift off the ground so to speak.
Yes, so this means engine work/ engine swap and a different tranny, or you could just bolt on a jet engine, that'll get get you the sickest top end ever :clap

you sound like you're talking from first-hand experience.
so are you?
*Improve aerodynamics (less drag and better high-speed stability).
*longer gearing, but acceleration will be slower down low, and if you don't have the aerodynamics or hp this probably won't be much of a help uptop since the drag and lack of hp would probably you back.
*More hp.
