Car is going into storage, need some advice

Plan on disconnecting battery and draining tank, but are they any other tips/hints/rules of thumb I should take into account?? I will start the car periodically to make sure everything is cool, but I dont want to run into headaches down the road... Thx guys...

place the car up on jack stands, either drain your tank ( as you stated) or put an additive in the tank. disconnect the battery and if possible put the battery on a trickle charger. roll up all the windows, change the oil and cover it

change oil filter
clean the interior and make it dry, as well as the exterior
leave the parking brake off, put tranny in reverse if youre on manual(probably are)
block rear wheels
leave one window open slightly if stored indoors
put silicone spray to door and trunk seals to minimize sticking

Although probably nothing to do with Honda, old Bentley Turbo R's brake pads like to eat out the brake rotors after sitting around for a while. It might pay to check that your pads won't do the same thing.

Rotate the wheels if its on a jackstand once and awhile? Also, if you are storing the car in a cold location, make sure you have a 70/30 or even higher anti-freeze to water ratio in your motor, and run the car with it like that before storage, to circulate it. You'll be glad when your block doesn't crack because ice formed in your coolant passages..which what happened to one of my old trucks..in one night.
