I like Craftsman and stanley to some extent because stanley does have some pretty nice ratchets that swivel and bend and do all sorts of neat tricks. But If money wasn't an option I'd pick Snap-on or Matco. I personally have this set from craftsman http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/produ...nics+Tool+Sets
and I love it to death, One because if the locks on the case are snapped in, you could hurl that case off from a 100 story building and it wouldn't break open. But I also do carpentry work and my preference for power tools are Dewalt and Makita.
mac tools are nice too. I use craftsman and mac. Once i have my own place i wanna get some snap on shit.

Mods: Tokico Gas Shocks, Progress Sports Springs, Ractive Cold Air Intake, Ractive Strut tower brace, Revolution Exhaust with 2.5 in piping from cat back, clear lights all around,12' Pioneer sub powered by a Jenson 300 watt amp, and the newest an JDM H22
I seem to get stanley and craftsman. I would buy snap-on but i wallet isn't that deep. Also for ratcheting wreches i like to get the generic craftsman, gearwrench. They look exactly the same.
