hey guys i was given a ticket last month ago, and the cop said i should appear in court on march 8, but when i went to court today they said they did not have my ticket, what gonna happen guys is it because they didnt receive it, or what, did any of you guys experience this i live in bay area cali

That happen to me a long time ago. Even if the ticket doesn't show up on file. It will show up in your driving record.Some times it takes a while for a police officer to file a citation . I thought I got away with it but I didn't. As far as the cop not show it will be dismiss if he dosen't show up.

you need to go down to the courthouse and make sure that everything is straight. I would suck if the officer wrote down or told you the wrong date... say the 8th instead of 18th.

If he did, I believe you can get off, if any of the information on the ticket isn't correct, including the court date, then it migh be dismissed.
