Question Good set of wheel locks & lugnuts.

What are the best lugnuts and wheel locks you can get. I want lightweight and for it to be somewhat cheap. But if you want list whatever , most exspensive , to best deal.

I've got a set of Work lugs on my wheels. They certainly weren't cheap ($100 for a set including locks) but they are good and extremely light, made of Duraluminum. Check my photo gallery for a picture of them.

I picked up a nice set of PIAA lock nuts (4, 1 for each wheel) not the lightest, but seem really strong and well made. about $50 here.

Kyokugen nuts... .25 grams / 7 sided design (socket sets are 6 sided). Also they come in a variety of colors to match your wheels and they are an open end design required by many race tracks. I am a very satisfied customer of theirs.

Round $60 on ebay if i remember correctly. Correction $45: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2462552326

What do you guys think about open ended lug nuts. Are they good? I saw a really good price on these ones that also looked light as hell.

They are open ended. So it screws on through. What are your thoughts. How do they look?

open ended lug nuts:
pros: lighter
cons: might be rusted over time

Rays might be what you're looking for if you don't mind to spend more

go to www.inlinefour.com, they have many selections

Heres one , they also have valve stems and caps. Which is a big plus for me.

Come in black or gunmetal

$60 bucks a set , they weigh 25 grams each. Forged (stronger)
