i just upgraded mine after some problems locating my wires and stuff! i can't wait to try it out, but the problem is the rubber ball on the unit clip is broken....as is my backlight i'm gonna see if gtech would send me a new clip and fix my backlight "under warranty" hehe
anyways....any of you guys use the new firmware yet?

it's like a major software upgrade for the unit. the gtech pro competition only used to have a drag racing mode, now it has road racing and drag racing modes and better connectivity with the computer
i was playing around w/ it today, but my wipers mess up that data cuz there's an electronic spike which causes the gtech's tach to jump

a buddy of mine has a data logger and a palm pilot thing that looks alot like that,he peiced it all together for like $150 but he did it like late last year and it is coo cause it tells about everything that's going on with your car.I'll get more info on it from him but it looks alot like that but he has had it for a while

i have the competition pro model. they have a new ss and rr model that's like $250. all that stuff can be downloaded from the gtech into the computer and you can tune your car accordingly. that PASS software is being worked on daily for even more improvements i'll try to record my canyon runs later today to see how it works out for me
btw mike, if you're going to that autocross today, i think there will be a green mr-s there. he might have a gtech w/ this feature if you talk to him, ask if he's from spyderchat
