H22a civic problems

I have a 92 civic si with a h22a swap. It runs great except when im down shifting or driving in nuetral it dies. I still have the stock civic cause i cant get ahold of a 97 prelude vtec computer. does anyone know why the car keeps dieing. any help would be appreciated post if u need anymore info about the car.

only when you downshift? maybe you need a bigger fuel pump

i thought about that but doesnt the computer control the amount of fuel the engine gets so if im running the civic computer maybe its causing the problem. idk but i think i got ahold of a computer for 350

try that changing the comp it might be that if not try what 90si said and get a bigger fuel pump
