I know that the B16A,and the B18's have more of an aftermarket mods, but how far can you go to modify most of the internals of the H22A,valvetrain, pistons, connector rods, crankshaft, cams, what about forced induction, is there any kits for the H22A? Are there any more big power adders with out forced induction for the H22A?
correct, mostly for 1/4 mile for my hatch, could you possibly turbo it or would you keep it all motor. but it is kinda going to be a daily driver maybe for another year or so. do they make iron sleeves for H22A? I know most people frown upon the H22A swap, but all I can see myself doin is draggin my friends 1991 350 silverado. does the engine knock against the sidewalls and the frame like some people say?
my suspension upgrades are not real clear to me right now, I know if I go with the H22A swap, I want the Hasports mounts, axles, shift linkage, is there anything else i need to consider on getting concerning the suspension?
my goals are to run in the 11's or 12's once I convert it from a daily driver to a street/race car.
any part you can find for b-series you can find for the h-series. it'll probably be a little more expensive becasue b-series motors are more commonly modded than h-series
search, come on now, dis HAS been thought and argued over many times thru
the biggest problem you'll have w/ the h22 is having the motor rub against your frame when hitting the corner. of course this won't be a problem if this is strictly a drag car, but it will cause some problems if it is your daily driver.
i say get a b-series and build that.....that way when you realize how boring 1/4mi shoots are, you can move into a real man's sport
