Have some questions on new project!!

Me and my friend are gonna put together a 5th gen hatchback for drag racing but driveable on the street. We are gonna start w/ a motor first and build it up. This car is gonna be only for drag racing and thats it. maybe go cruise around on weekends. My question is since we wanna build up the whole bottom end wouldnt make sense to start w/ a bare block??Maybe a 84.5mm dart block w/ sleeves?? This is also gonna be turboed. or what other block would you use??

try DH-Racing's blocks or ones sleeved by AEBS

darton , aebs = good

I believe DH racing has been in contact with us and wants to work out something. Allthough I have no knowledge about them.

I think darton might be cheaper though and they do the installs in house for a good price and ship it right back to you.

i used to be in contact with Joshua Truex from there when i was thinking about getting an intake manifold/big bore throttle body from them....

the cool thing is that he'll buy your stock one for 50 bucks or credit towards your next purchase

are you referring to dh racing or dart?? My friends dad's best friend is mechanic and does side work at a race shop here so he said he could put the motor together and anything we needed machined or anything.
