I am looking to finance a car, no more then $18,000 and im not 100% sure on what to get. I am looking into RSX Type S's but what would you guys suggest? These are the cars I have been looking at also..RX8, 350z, s2000. I want to look around and get opinions from people before I go and finance a car im not going to 100% happy with. thanks
To be honest I have found a couple 350z and s2000's, older models though. And as for rx8's there are plenty of them for under $18,000 in my area. I plan on useing it as a everyday driver but I dont plan on leaving it stock. I will have about $1500 to play with once I get the car.
Well you are in Canada and maybe he's talking about 18,000 US.
Anyways finding S2000s and RX8s under 18 are possible pretty easily. I've seen a couple RX8s for 18-19 with under 10k miles on them.
Out of that list I'd say S2000 would be the more fun, but it's also the least practical. Do you need need the extra seats? The extra room?
Only way to know if you'll be happy with any of them is to test drive them all. It's all personal preference on what you like. Do you wan the power of the 350Z or the handling of the S2000? The VTEC of the Type-S or the smooth power of the Rotary.
Well Im pretty sure the s2000 is out of the question, I was reading they are a little cramped and im 6'3". How are the rx8's? Like reliabilty wise and how will the rotary motor last in the long run? And is there any specific 350z I should look into (like the base model rsx compaired to the rsx type s) thanks
Mods: 100 spoke gold daytons, velvet headliner, fuzzy dice, dead white chick in the trunk
350z If you can find one under 18K(I've seen a few around here, so it's possible) there's no question thats what I'd go for. Has everything from power to handling to reliability. Most of the other cars you listed only seem to have reliability and/or handling.
