here is my thoughts on ricers - Honda Forum / Acura Forum

I'm still trying to figure out why I hear and see so many of these people (asian or not) driving imports that run between 17-15.0 1/4 miles that think they just OWN everyone on the road. Right now, this is my hypothesis. If, this person gained interests in those cars from watching The **** and the ******* then obviously he only knows that if there is an import car with a large exhaust tailpipe and stickers on the car then it is automatically a road OWNER. Then, when he gets his lightweight vehicle he realizes that the body jerks alot because when he shifts it at wot it shakes the light body considerably, and therefore gives the "feeling" of accelerating fast because it has that misguiding sense. Next, he'll have to bolt up a hugh *** tach on his dash so that everyone can see that he is a bad *** that needs to be able to see when he needs to shift his car, or that he needs some glasses. And then he needs to bolt up his CAI that has his K/N sticker on it to show that he has a "shiny intake yo". Then, he goes to kragen and gets his pimp *** NOS steering wheel cover. Then, after that, he heads down to "Street Toys" and purchases his "powered by honda" and goes outside and carefully applies his sick sticker to show everyone that is 1.8 liter economically purposed engine is making MAD POWER YO. Then, after he goes to audio express, and purchases his fat SUBS that are now shaking his windows because he has the bass too loud, he meets his HOMIES in front of staples to check out eachothers cars. He pops his hood with a confident look on his face, and let's everyone see his BAD engine. He adds comments like " check out the fake nitrous port i have duct taped right here on the INTAKE YO. and "oh, don't forget to check out my MAD WING i stole off a 747, it hella bad yo" After he gets done letting everyone see his pimped out ride, he heads home. On his way, he sees a 1997 Toyota Corolla DX with a missing hubcap, and a sick triple A sticker on the bumper. He lines up to me, who is driving the pimp corolla, and he looks over. I notice an irratating noise coming from the rear of his car, and it resembles the sound of a reverberating fart echoeing through the walls of my house. I notice he is in his GAnsta style stance with one hand centered at 1oclock, and he is sitting low enough so that he is looking through the middle of his steering wheel. So, light turns greens and my 100% bone stock corolla beats his car off the line because everyone knows the Corolla has MAD Torque. then, he speeds off home to tell his buddies that he just beat a corolla "that was spraying and supercharged and it had intake and stuff" when in reality he got B slapped by a bone stock, ugly than crap corolla. But, in his "world" he was racing a fast car because if his car lost, then the car the car that beat him was just by fluke. Meanwhile, the world continues on with an increasing number of import enthusiasts like that because alot of these individuals didn't have proper education. Why do i say this?? because i see it every day of my life in my town. There's probably like 3 thirdgens, 20 5.0's, and 30,000 ***** out, uglier than ****, slower than ****, import and domesticated ****. I hate my town, i'm moving to a town that has nothing but american v8 cars, vipers, exotics, skylines, 350z's, european cars, supras, 3kgts, and some 10second bracket racing real import cars. There is almost nothing i hate in this world more then when someone takes a perfectly fine import economy car and just does the most idiotically insanely crazy dumb ****. I mean, what the hell is wrong with these peoples' minds????

this thread is pointless, its long i didn't bother reading it but I can tell. My fake nitrous port and fake turbo BOV sounds will pwn your ass. My JDM is mad tight with super happy lucky Honda NAWZ turbo fast stickers... My point is that this post is dslkgh Egklj'poj lkjsDFl /....>!

My fav part of this forum is all the post that do nothing but flame people because you're too lazy to make a real comment but you also feel like letting the poster know you disaprove. Grammar and spelling nit picks are kinda lame too, more so when thats the entire point of your post. But that isn't my point.. so i'll go on (lucky you)

There is nothing wrong with having a car that is all show no go, and vise versa... I am working on one of each myself (of for strips one for dates (if i can get one)) but if you have a car thats show no go dont race it.. When you lose.. its ok to catch up, but don't fly by, thats lame. I've gotten to drive a few civics (stock and warmed up) and they do handle millions of times better than my old american cars but the low end torque does suck... of course thats made up with light weight and high rmp power but anything that lags off the line doesn't do it for me. If you have a civic or something that you want to make fast and either don't have the time/money or whatever thats cool, keep at it. I'm in the same boat with my cars but don't try and show off till you're car can... its just silly.
To mrmadstickersyo or whatever... i doubt you are on the forum much, but you'll have to get a new car to go to your performance land...

Really? thats awesome... i always wanted to go to college my i'm too poor... mommy says someday if i work hard i'll get to send my kids to college... i can only let one go so he'll have to support the other 5 once he gets his job in the north! Respect for someone should not go up or down because you go went to college.. but thanks for letting me know.. And where can you get one of those cool fire sticks?

Its just that everyone who joins SHO will post the same type of thing(you haven't been around to see that) Bottom line we all hate ricers, we all know and don not have to be reminded. I am not attacking your post, so settle down.

you can shut up. i like to be able to read something. some posts are so bad that i actually cant understand what the person is trying to say, and people need to keep it short and to the point, or include some cliffs. there's nothing worse than reading something poorly written and long only to find that there is no point and you are left wondering what the person was trying to say.

and as for the college thing, i'm a sophmore in college now, but you know what? i learned better grammar and spelling than most people use on this forum in MIDDLE SCHOOL
