tech wrench Honda Weight Loss Thread. [input your tips]

Post any tips for weight savings that you have performed. What you did and how much you lost. Carbon Fiber Hood, Lightweight wheels or whatever.

Please be sure to only post if you have tested your numbers.
You can weigh things easy by holding them and standing on a home scale and subtracting your initial weight from your new weight, the difference in weight is your parts weight

Here is an example of how to post your data:

Remove Winshield Fluild/ Resivoir/ Lines 10lbs (water is heavy, Everyone should do this one)

Remove Spare tire 20lbs

Remove p.o.s. Honda tools 3lbs

Remove Cruise control 5lbs

Replace Air box with CAI 5lbs

Remove Dust Guards 3lbs

Remove Mud guards 3lbs

Remove Floor Mats 5lbs

Weight loss: 54lbs Not much but its a start

How hard is it to remove the rear washer lines? I never use that one.

hrmm maybe i cant weigh things by hand? the wiper motor felt almost the same as the light. this was a couple months ago too. maybe its 1lb. ill edit.
