jacks on asphault

it's hot here in maryland, and i have an aphault driveway. anyways, i'm planning a transmission swap over the course of a couple days (working slowly and surely). anyways, i'm wondering if there's anyway to keep a car propped up for a while without using jackstands that could sink in. i was thinking a homebuilt ramp. any other ideas? thanks!

Well, this is assuming it's a FWD car...
sorry, i wasn't clear. this is for the 5.0, not the accord. is it safe to lay down some wood underneath the jackstands?

Some 5/8" or 3/4" plywood will work.

On some models the AC controls are located on the door panels. Temperature is selected by how far you rotate the crank and the fan is operated by the long skinny pedal to the far right. The further you depress this pedal, the higher the air flow.
