Alright I'm new to the forum and what not, but I'm needing some information. My friend might give me his accord(early 90's,motor blown,etc) but I have $2k for a motor swap/etc...what would be a good swap for it and how much time/etc would it take? anything special that I would have to get? Just wanting to get a general idea of what all it would take to get it running and be a pretty quick car any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Well with the much(or little) Money you could just do another Accord engine swap, I think it's the F22 that has about 140HP. But I am not too sure. An H22A would be the most logical swap, but I am not sure what it's going to take to get the engine in.
Is this Accord a 5 speed?
I ask because I think an Auto H22A swap is much cheaper then Manual, but thats only because the engine is cheaper with an Auto.
