need advice on air tools?

I am interested in purchasing an air compressor and a few air tools but am clueless when it comes to what's the best. I really don't want to spend more than $200 on everything. I don't want anything fancy because I am not going to be using it often. Just need something that's going to get the job done. My main concerns are removing wheels and spring/strut assembly. Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

if you're not going to be using your tools all the time and you don't abuse them, you'll be fine with something from craftsman for example. with air tools, always remember to put a little oil in them first, just a few drops, to ensure long life and smooth operation.

On some models the AC controls are located on the door panels. Temperature is selected by how far you rotate the crank and the fan is operated by the long skinny pedal to the far right. The further you depress this pedal, the higher the air flow.

Ingersol Rand are about the best bang for your buck air tools

and a cheap alternative to air tool oil is ATF

as for an air compressor I would check your trading post for a twin cylinder 20 GAL that will run on 110v thats what I use and it works good.

I read some reviews on a couple of the lesser expensive craftsman impact wrenches and they got bad reviews. Some saying that the impact wrenches were so weak they wouldn't even remove lugnuts. Are there any other decent brands that aren't very expensive?

IR 231C is rated at 400ftlbs @ 90psi, I think you can get one from sears for like $125 or so, I have had mine for 5 years and it still gets the job done
