need help finding a turbo

okay, ill admit it, i know practiaclly NOTHING about cars..but id like to....next summer i am looking to buy a turbo for my sol. I have a 93 Si SOHC Vtec AUTO.....what turbo shoudl i be looking at here?

i dont know anything about turbos but i cant see it being too good on your auto tranny

Possibly the Trust GReddy complete turbo kit might be something to look into. I also don't know much about turbochargers, but I've heard a few good things about the Trust kit.

SIMO is an unknown quantity at this point
i got mine from ebay. look to spend around 500 for a turbo and around 2000 more for other parts and lots and lots of hours working on the car. this is if you can fabricate your own parts, though. my turbo will be ready as soon as i get my intercooler in the mail, then the install will take me a long damn time :-(

well a turbo on a auto matic is kind of trickey you'll have to be carefull not to over rev the engine when the tranny is shifting, also your tranny might not be able to handle that kind of power. i'm not sure what the hp limit is on the tranny you have but you might want to check into that.

all very good points thank you guys, i never thought of teh tranny hmmm...i wil look into that...and SIMO, my dad would be doing the work, hes been an auto mechanic for 30 yrs, so instal im NOT worried about LOL....im just wondering where i can get a complete kit, and which kit shoudl it be.
