Need A Nice Exhaust

Hello,
I am looking for an exhaust for my 1996 HONDA CIVIC 4 DOOR. I need the pipe to add a custom sound without being too loud. I have heard lots of loud Hondas but i dont think its the right sound for me.

Thanks

Hands down, the one you are looking for is the Apexi World Sport. There's probably 100 or more people on here that will tell you the same. Good price usually, awesome tone quality, but not very loud. Not at all farty or obnoxious. I am still very happy with mine over a year now since I put it in. Fits good too.

Thanks for the advice! The prices are not too much and they look great. One question...Do i just need a new muffler, or do i need a completely new exhaust set (headers, converter, muffler)? Thanks again :clap

There is a site called www.rpmmotoring.com, they usually have the best deals and sometimes good sales. I got mine for $390 shipped and it was well worth it, but I've seen some applications lower than $350. Crazy bargain!

Great exhaust. Doesn't always fit that well though. The best in terms of sound and quality IMO.

Overall I think it fit good, except the muffler is held up high for more ground clearance and that makes the tip a real tight fit in the stock bumper. At least that's my experience. Still wouldn't trade it though.

Well, it sounds different under load than when you're driving so if someone stood behind the car and recorded it, it wouldn't be totally accurate. But it's a deep tone that is just a little louder than stock. Like Apex describes it, it is their interpretation of what stock should have looked and sounded like. It looks good, not like those silly fake N1 cans welded on hanging way down. It's a full-size stainless muffler that tucks up tight. I was worried about whether it would sound good, I assure you I was totally stoked with it the instant I turned it on, and I'm still not tired of listening to it over a year later.

All quality brands, but most of those are at least $100 more expensive than the Apexi.
