need some help

maybe someone here can help with my problem


my buddy has an 1989 240sx with sr20det swap. we installed the engine last year and it ran fine, until a seal in the turbo went to shit. so it's been off the road since. well he pulled the engine out over the winter to have the engine bay and car painted and install his s13 front end conversion. he pulled all the wiring out of the engine bay when he pulled the engine.

so we reinstall the engine, installed a top mount t3/t4 turbo, changed all the fluids we turn the engine over with i think he said the cam sensor unpluged so the oil can move through the engine with out it starting to check for any leaks from the oil lines and what not. not leaks. plug the sensor back in and try to start the engine and nothing. we check all the plugs sensors and grounds and every thing was good.

we were up till 3am this morning trying to figure it out. any help would be great.

Check the basics. Spark, timing, etc.

It's been sitting for quite awhile you say? Did it even turn over or not at all?

No fuel or bad fuel? I assume you hve voltage from the battery?

yeah it turns over and we are getting fuel but no spark. where going to check the ignitor chip and the coil packs sometime this week.
