tech wrench O2 Sensors

I own a GS Integra 99, and i recently plugged in an OBDII scan tool and got a code for my O2 sensor heater circuit, the car was converted from an automatic to a stick and the automatic ECU was left inside instead of putting in one from a manual integra, i was wondering if this could be the cause of the O2 DTC coming up. I also got a code for the transmission(obviously).
I want to know if there is a way of bypassing the O2 sensor or if there's a way to set it so that it doesn't set off a DTC because i'm planning on adding a turbo kit to it and a straight pipe is definitley in the plans for the near future.
I'm curious if any of you turbo b18ers even have O2 sensors and if so, how can you run a straight pipe turbo system without that sensor going off?

They make O2 simulators for SOME vehicles. I'm sure they make them for yours. The simulators trick the ECU into thinking that the O2 sensors are there and are reading right.
