I changed my oil,battery and a blown bulb in my left headlight
BTW I drive a 96 civic dx sedan(slushbox)
here some pics of the whole ordeal. I didn't have a jack so I used an old spare tire jack for a cadillac. I had to jack it up on the right side to take the oil drain bolt off and drain the oil then I had to lower the car and jack up the left side to get the oil filter off.
it seems liek a good idea until a brick breaks or a board slips....i had a car fall off of a 4x4 fencepost at the shop i worked at, luckily i wasnt under it

LOL, you might need some new equipment next time. Dont feel too bad, cuz I changed my oil yesterday, which also required a new oil pan at the same time.
just remember this.. even a $200 dollar jack relies on a 10 cent O-ring buy some fuckin jackstands and a decent jack, those narrow jacks arent good for shit besides slipping and falling or as suggested buy some ramps.. i prefer jacks and stands but ramps will work just as well
