Just read this.....I'm running a D16Y7 w/ 4-2-1 header, short intake, race cat, 2 1/4" mid-pipe, exhaust, NGK "blue" wires (forget the model no.) NGK Iridium plugs and a distibutor set-up with copper tips...lemme guess it would probably be a good idea to reset my ECU??? BTW I live at sea level.... So what do you do??? Just unplugged the harness going to the ECU for 5 mins. then replug and wait for it to sort itself out??? Anyone with any results from this??? I dynoed my car last year and made 106hp and 97 foot lbs. of torque

but if you think of it a stock SI (D16Y8) makes that at the wheels... and 127 hp at the crank... whereas a D16Y7 makes a claimed 106 hp at the crank stock...

so any free power or better distribution of it would be great!!! Thanx
