Something You Folks Should Know
I made the mistake of buying a blue andonized shifter from some punk on ebay, the shifter was brand new, I think it was APC, anyway, two days later I was goint to work, I was driving normally not speeding or anything and the shifter broke into 3 peices at the shift knob and at the ball of the shifter,I had to drill a hole in the shifter in an AMPM parking lot, and shift with a screw driver to get to work, it really sucked, don't do what I did and go the easy way, save up a little more cash and get quality parts. you probably know but I'm a dumb a$$. now I have a B&M shifter SOLID STEEL! it works great.

My friends dad had to drive his car home with an adjustable spanner (yep, used the spanner to steer) because someone stole his steering wheel (it was a piece of crap, so I have no idea who wanted the steering wheel), so you definately don't need to feel like a wierdo for having to change gears with a screw driver.
Oh well, at least you have a good shifter now.

I'm sure glad I didnt have to go through that, that's pretty sad that they stole the steering wheel, you can get an aftermarket one for $50 bucks easy.

yup, there was that blue DA that crashed and wrecked he skimped out on some cheapo shifter...
i have my B&M..the one that was modeled after the C's...shifts exactly the same..i love it..
was expensive, but worth it  |

I had a skunk2 shifter cost me about $100 or so (got it so long ago I dont remember) but it was constructed well

APC is the F#%&@#G DEVIL, every time I see there products my definition of cheap and horribly ricey crap changes. And when I watch programs like Super2nr TV and watch that fat bastard from APC talk about parts like he actually knows what the f#$k he's talking about it makes me sick. The world would be a better place if that whole company burnt to the damn ground...or if people would STOP BUYING THEIR CRAP!!!
