timing belt VS. timing Chain

timing belt VS. timing chain......whats the advantage of each? all i know is that timing chains almost never has to be replaced while timing belts are required to be changed at 70-90k miles.

Chains are far stronger and will last longer. Personally I hate timing belts, but thats just my opinion. The strongest set up are all gear drive systems, but you only see that set up primarily on OHV V6 or V8s. There have been DOHC V engines with all gear driven systems.
