I have a question. When I turbo my b16, will i still be able to hear vtec? Right now that is like my "perk" It will be your standard FMIC charge piping setup. I think I wont hear it, but I want to ask someone with a turbo b16.

Ya, I have a video of a black Ingra Type R Turbocharged, pushing over 450hp and you can sure hear VTEC, also a turbo Civic EX with a Edelbrock turbo kit and you can also hear it, its way louder than stock.

sweet! Get two things accomplished with the turbo then. Quiet the exhaust, and amplify the intake...sorta.

I dont know how to post videos on here. It was a black Integra Type R turbo for sale on ebay about a month ago. I got the video either from here or honda-tec h.com.

i cant hear vtec on d16z with greddy kit.. hell, i cant even feel the vtec

i can hear vtec, it's not the same kind of sound though, u'll understand once u go turbo. Right now it's a combo of VTEC and open wastegate, since i get full boost around 4500 and my VTEC changes over at 4800 it kinda just merges as the old VTEC sound a giant rush of air.....when i passed my buddy on the highway last weekend he called me up and said i scared the shit out of him lol

I am going to run my WG dumptube into the DP though. But I guess all the noise I want to hear is the intake side. Im actually looking at building an exhaust to be about as quiet as a stockish wrx. I dont like loud exhaust anymore. But a loud intake, turbo or NA,...mmmm, thats tasty.

That was itr206's car yo....hes on here too. The vtec on that vid was nasty.
