Hey, ya' freakin' LOON! j/f
What car, engine, etc.? I looked in your profile, but
nothing was listed. My first were lightened flywheel,
better clutch and a header, (along with "minor" things).
BTW, even these "minor" things usually cost "hundreds".
C&D's got a new magazine out called "BOOST", and it
shows the expense of upgrading; you might
want to look at that, first. I'm still upgrading, and I've
spent more than what I bought the Sol for, new, (not
including interest). But, I guess your SN fits !
Welcome to the Club.
PS - Those first three are pretty good/worth the ca-ching.

if you're not going to any major mods that puts swaps out of the question

why not save for the swap...keep it the way you have it for now?

that's one of the biggest thing you can do really

mebbe even install some things onto the engine before you swap it out...

work on the suspension as well and yer good to go!

I'd just save if you're going to do a swap. Maybe
upgrade other things besides the engine/trans, if you're
really "hyper" about upgrading. Myself: I'd pay it off,
first. No car payments is the best upgrade !
Besides, you probably have a lot of good miles left on
that '99. Check out C&D's "Boost", though; it's a really
good mag. They have this one HB: car cost:$1500.00,
upgrade cost:$26,000.00+/- !

I suggest getting a nice pair of grippy tires. Itll improve braking, cornering, and acceleration all at the same time, thats three mods for the price of one. Thank me later
