What's your biggest pet peeve about working on cars?
so what pisses you off the most or what aspect do you absolutely LOATHE about fixing/modifying cars?
mine would have to be WIRING.....it's so tedious and takes me forever

I guess mine would be waiting for it to get finished ... I hated being without a car for periods at a time ... well for the things I couldn't do myself anyway.
But yeah ... wiring sucks too
I did my stereo system myself ... never do this on a hot day
Drive you fuckin crazy

I think modding in general, when done right, can be an all around pain in the ass. I mean, if you get suspension, you gotta extend yourself a little to buy the right parts and instal them correcetly. Then when you start basic mods (i/e) you gotta make sure that you're getting quality parts that have a little R&D behind them. Don't forget to reset the ECU to make it all worth while. I just put in the APEXi VAFC piggyback and I haven't even changed any of the settings yet, (goin to dyno tomorrow!). Modding/tuning is one of those things where every aspect is interrelated and you have to take into account several fators even if you change one little thing. It can be painstaking and meticulous, so you gotta really like spending time with your hands and face in an engine bay.

Wiring....is a bitch. Never really know if its right till you test it....
I also didnt really like polishing my exhaust ports...my big hands would get all scraped up by the studs.

You can prevent that, every garage should have the basic tools.
But wiring is a major pain, being that I'm not to good with it, and when I have to do it it looks like a half ass ghetto job.

IM a poor ass college student. But I have the basic scoket set's and wrenches. Wiring is not hard for me at all. Is natural for me for some reason.

I want one that kills the rear lights at night. Muwhahah. But I like the turn on idea. Another good one is have the reverse lights come, or do it at a stop light....oh right thats me just backing up to fuck with you after you crammed ass.
Makes them think you have an auto who tried it put it in park and your now about to slam on the gas when it goes green and reverse into them. Which BTW If you ever see look out for, Ive seen that a few times. Dumbass goes for park at a red , goes into reverse. Then goes green , he steps on it flies back and like freaks out and slams on the brakes.

hahaha my friend with his auto accord did that numerous of times...the car shakes a ton at idle so he leaves it in park..
but one time he was chillin at a light and i was behind him, and i was like "why is george have his car in reverse?"..then the light turns green and he flys backwards..i'm like "jdm front here i come! muahahha" and then he stops like milimeters away...
haha made me laugh..
