I have a genuine 1991 std civic 4-speed knob. It's light weight and fast, though it wont let me shift my Si tranny into 5th.

my friend had a knob like that on his 5 speed jeep, it actually wasnt that bad. i liked it.

I've never had a problem with it, nice and heavy, makes bangin through the gears easy, never slip, never mis-shift
