yeah..that's actually a metal inside, covered with mild foam. i really like the feeling of it, but it does get sticky at times..gotta get like weekly cleaning done.

stock ball shifter from an old Fiat spider from the 70's, with the leather pouch sucked way down to expose the stem, looks real sweet.

I use a stock shiftknob, from a 94 RX-7 in my 91. They're heavier, shorter, and prettier than the stock FC shiftknobs. Plus, it was free.

I'm thinking about an all-black Momo Corsa Gara knob, for the Z. Expensive, but they seem to be worth it. Has anyone ever used one, in their car?
