99 Civic DX is leaning!!!

Does anyone else have this problem? My friend who has a 96 DX does the same thing. Both are leaning on the driver side. Neither one of them have been wrecked. Both cars were leaning before any aftermarket suspension was installed. My car is sitting about a half inch lower on the driver side and so is his. I cant figure it out.

I have replaced the springs, struts, and the top hats. Everything looks like its normal, nothing is bent or sagging.

The thing that I cant understand is that even before the new suspension went on it leaned like this. Its the same thing in both the front and the back.

Anyone know what it might be?

Thanks,

Paul

naturally the lower control arm bushings (front and rear) are going to wear more quickly on the driver side.

my car does it as well......actualy most all civics i've seen that have lowering springs or stock suspension lean some. the only ones that don't are the ones on coilovers or coilsleeves.

My 99 GSR did the same. They all come from the factory like that. I really don't know the reason, but there has to be one. Maybe the factory figures in passengers and weight variances and one sided needed to me a slight higher or lower than the other.

Is it possible the US uses the same specs from the Japanese Honda's. Maybe the driver side in Japan sits higher for the drivers weight. Maybe they didn't notice it in the US. Makes sense if you ask me. It'd all work out if we sat on the right side of the car. Have your friend sit in the passenger seat, then measure it.

Hmmm, I dont know. Its bothering me though, I think its something to the point of a bushing or something but the bad part about that is that I have new lower control arms in the rear and new bushings in the front. This shit is wierd.

sounds like some kind of conspiracy to me

i always thought my 4th gen lude kinda leaned toward the driverside. i thought it was alwyas uneven ground.
