Any cheap power boosts for d16z6

I currently own a 1993 Civic EX with a d16z6. I was wanting to boost the motor ,but i'm broke as a joke at the moment. Does anyone kno of any cheap power gains a kid like me could get their hands on?

CHEAP and POWER do not go together.......

Get a CAI and call it a day if your really planning on boost .....

You have a D-series engine. You really will not get much out of it unless you boost.

k&n drop in air filter w/crower stg2 cam and a chipped & properly programmed p28 would make for a fun setup.

Just a quick question. Do you have a 5spd or AT? If you're going to say AT then don't bother with mods right now. Save up for a 5spd swap, do that, THEN start saving up to piece together a turbo kit. There is a lot of good information out there on how to do this on the cheap, you just have to look for it. I can tell you from experience that patience is extremely necessary if you're going to build a decent ride. Good luck.

Dont waste your money,just save up for a turbo kit.Your gonna end up taking all that crap off anyways IE:header,intake etc. Power does'nt come cheap.....ever
