get off this psi fixation. hp is what breaks shit not psi. a stock d16 block i wouldnt push more than 250whp.

an fmu is a bandaid fix. you need bigger injectors and a bigger fuel pump AND tuning.

the block has been taken to 450+whp, its the rods that are weak.

200whp and about 10psi out of a t25 or slightly bigger (DSM 14g) is about the limit of the stock bottom end. but the Y series engines are known to have oiling issues, some pople get lucky and have no issues some just blow up(like mine did).

STAY AWAY FROM FMU will ruin mpg, could wash out cylinderwalls, will also make shit power.

www.pgmfi.org is all about proper ECU tuning it is more complicated but WELL worth the effort.
here is a good link to how to setup a turbo:

www.homemadeturbo.com has GREAT how too's

actually a good tune will go a long way detonation is your worse enemy one guy has spent days tuning his engine. hes putting out more than 300whp on stock internals and he runs it hard trying to break it. with a decent tune I wouldn't go over 225whp
