I keep the internals a secret. call me a liar if you like. All you need to know is, I bought a built head off of a friend. The actual value is somewhere around $4500

so basically you didn't build anything for 1300 dollars. either way it was thousands of dollars for your "secret setup" you friend basically did the work. even with the head that's not something you can just slap together. even without the head. your hondata and tune would costs upwards of 700 dollars, and all of your other parts would still add up to over 1300 bucks. your setup was a hand me down from somebody else who spent the money

I don't have any problem with you keeping internals secret and I'm not concerned with what/where you got things. My issue is misinformation. Do you see how someone can some along and read your post and think they can get 200whp for $1300 when that really isn't true at all.

i never said a reliable 200 HP that's why you can get them for $1300 and for how cheap they are some people can afford to buy one for a weekend of fun then sell it to a kid looking for a sports car for $2000 and make a little $ and actually the 1 gen didn't suffer from chronic Crank Walk 2nd gens (95-99) with the 7 bolt were notorious for that most 1st gens are 3 or 4 bolt

i was giving yous hit. and the crankwalk issue i believe was from 1995-1997. they fixed it in the later models hehe. the 2g's are pretty cars though. and the motors are so cheap to buy that you can build it up with internals and fix it all together.

if they weren't so damn unreliable and heavy i'd prolly have one. not to mention the interior is so damn cramped. i would love a black or red 1997-1999 eclipse gsx though. but too turbo cars would be too much maintenance for me.
