you said you got a built head from yoru friend for cheap. in other words there was money spent somewhere for your setup that exceeds 1300 dollars. you're trying to make it sound like you can spend 1300 dollars and come up with an easy 200whp setup and that's false. you friend spent the money on the parts and you put them together (so you say) and then he basically gives you the head. not to mention all the other crap you listed far exceeded 1300 dollar for the setup you're running which i why i'm saying your full of shit. unless you are some certified master engine builder we don't know about. 200whp deseries build is not easy feat without boost. i'm still calling bs unless you got pics of this magic setup with a built bottem end and fully built head and tuning for only 1300 dollars.

lol btw my last post has nothing to do with anything, its a dave chapelle quote. I didn't mean anything by it.
I know i got decent power out of my 1.6 block 1.5 head combo. And that cost me 1000 on the dot. Both engines.
I know a guy who used the same setup but he put integra pistons in the block after boring it out to 1.8L. That was impressive. Cheap too. Didn't last over a year though lol, he should've changed the cam.

he's full of shit. his setup cost thousands even with a hand me down head that somebody footed most of the bill for. even all of his other parts i/h/e, fpr, hondata tuning and dyno time, will put you well past 1300 bucks

D series + $1300 =/= 200 HP not even at the flywheel. the internet is a funny place we can say we are whoever and it would be hard to disprove it. but without proof of your "master mechanic" skills we will call BS when we see something unreasonable with nothing to back it up.
