you missed my point completely. you had access to everything needed to complete your build cheaply. most people don't have access to the machines you have in your shop to do it themselves. when you gave a price of 1400 you didn't factor in the labor cost at all. just what it took you to build your engine. thus why i doubt you would offer to build a 200whp na d series engine for someone. sarcasm follows.....if you will let me know and I'll scrounge up some dough pick up another engine laying around and send it to you. then of course turn around and either part it out or sell it for at least double. end of sarcasm(since I know some people may have a hard time understanding when someone is being sarcastic) being a shop owner yourself you should know people are stupid when they see stuff on the internet, and not see the whole story, they tend to think well I should be able to do the same and when they see they can't they get all pissy and blame us for suggesting it can be done. I've seen it done alot. we just want people to understand not everyone can do this and there are reasons behind why you can do it so cheaply, you have the resources already there.

Well, In case you have not noticed already. I'm very good at missing the point on important issues. (not that this is important). I'm going to bring up the sarcastic comment, if I built you a motor and you turned around and sold it. I would steal your car and, then a month later bring it back and bolt the carcass to the roof of your house, take the motor and put it in your refrigerator and chain it down, then krazy glue a few Miscellaneous parts to your ceiling, walls and floor so you could not remove anything without destroying your house first. Then you would have to live with the fact that your an Idiot because you would never get a motor with that reliability ever again because I would never build one for you. The kid you sold the motor to would come back and cut your thumbs off because you sold him a motor that was not tuned for HIS car, then you would be s*hit outta luck. Im sure your comeback will be very degrading to me but personally I dont really care because I already know your an idiot for even thinking about selling a motor you bought from me for basically nothing.. Be a smart tit, dont start s*hit...

i remember when i thought my teg gsr was "fast" fuck it didn't even begin to make power till 4500 rpms. hehe. peak tq at 6K rpms and peak hp at like 7600 rpms. that shit was so ball-less. i make peak hp now where i used to make my peak tq on my teg

I'm just in awe of your stupidity. How would I be an idiot for being a smart business man. buy low sell high. If I could get a dumbass to build me a motor that would normally cost 2500 or more for 1400 then turn around and sell it for what he should have sold it for and make a profit, thats just good business sense. why would the guy i sell it to come back pissed? hes most likely gonna put it in another civic, I don't know anybody that buys a d series engine just to put in an integra. common sense has obviously left you a long, long time ago.

if you were able to get within 100 feet of my house and still walk I would open the doors for you. guns and dogs hurt.

why in the hell would I want a n/a d-series engine? it would hardly be streetable. I could build a boosted d, make more power and still drive it on the street easy.

building n/a d-series has to be the biggest waste of time and money. seriously the money invested into making a barely streetable unreliable yet still slow motor is so pointless. you could've had a real motor for the money you just wasted trying to turn an econo-motor into something it isn't. just boost it or swap it. seriously that motor is meant to get 35-45 mpg and to turn it into a 200whp motor that is clearly at it's limits of reliability and streetability is just retarded. and people act like 200whp is some kind of feat that some how makes you more important. it's a peaky ass 200whp at that with a horrible power curve. who builds a motor that is only capable of a 1500 rpm power band at stratospheric rpms?
